Hi Georgie, Thank you SO much for all your help in my home! You have really helped to simplify our lives! It's just wonderful that everything has a home now. We still get clutter but I can put all of Paige's stuff in a pile and she can go through it herself and put everything where it belongs, Colby too. As far as my craft things, it's been SO nice to know exactly where to go when I need something. I can even go ask the kids to grab something since it's all labeled. I actually went into a craft store and left without making a purchase:) I stop to think now, "Do I have a place to put this?" If I don't, it stays at the store! It's amazing how too much stuff and clutter can affect you life in different areas too. There is so much less tension between Cliff and I. I can't thank you enough!

Because of what we did, I am pulling everything out of my desk, cabinets, book case, all possible crevices in my office to do the same thing. I’m trying to make the best use of all the space and so excited to dump some stuff!As I’m doing this, listening to worship music, I was moved to write you and thank you. It comes straight from my grateful heart:Clutter drives me crazy, but like most people I’m great at accumulating a lot of it. Some people are naturally organized, and although I enjoy it when it’s done, it’s not natural for me to be that way. Between running a portrait studio and being available to my family, I don’t make the time to organize and then add more stuff to the stuff. My studio has a ton of great cabinets and storage which was a complete mess and a thorn in my side. In my mind, since I couldn’t clearly envision how I would organize it all, what I really needed to keep or throw away, I was frozen to non-action. That is so scary! As you and I worked for hours sorting through things, putting “like with like”, I must have told you at least 5 times, “I would have never done this on my own!”. But, as much as we threw away, I needed to keep a lot too for the endless possibilities that come up with the great babies and children I get to work with. I admit, I was reluctant many times to make final decisions on some of the things we ended up throwing away or donating. But you, patiently and with a super-dose of grace, would calmly help me come to a decision. As I write this, it all seems so simplistic, just make decisions and put things where they belong! But, it’s not that simple and the chemistry we shared really helped the project to completion.From the beginning you said I “just needed a little motivation”. Now that the studio is done, I’m moved to transform other parts of my life into organized space that will no longer cause me grief. I’m attacking my entire office, cabinets book shelves, desk, etc. Needless to say, my naturally organized husband is thrilled. As I go through things, I’m reminded of how you handled things and I learned a lot just watching you. I’m not saying I don’t need you again, there are other areas that I could use your help with for another organizing extravaganza. But you gave me the motivation I really needed to tackle things rationally and the courage to let go of the clutter I no longer need. Organizing and maintaining a system are natural for some people, and now I have hope that it can be a learned process for the rest of us. Thank you so much for all of your time and caring!"

"My name is Alison and my husband and I run a very busy household with 5 children under 9. I had the privilege of using the services of Georgie Schwarz and Places for Everything for help in organizing much of my home, including the kitchen, master bedroom, guest bathroom and a bedroom shared by my 8 and 4 year-old sons. "I have always been a 'messy'. I was overwhelmed with work and could never seem to get organized. I had clothes, papers and junk everywhere! I was given Georgie's name by a friend who suggested I give her a call. We corresponded back and forth for a couple of weeks before I was able to commit to a time for her to come and take a look at my home.
